On behalf of our very excited FastMed team, it is my pleasure to announce that FastMed has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for accreditation by demonstrating compliance with the Joint Commission’s national standards for health care quality and safety in ambulatory health care.

This is a significant achievement for our organization for a number of reasons:

The Gold Seal is recognized nationwide as a symbol of quality and reflects FastMed’s commitment to delivering high quality healthcare to our patients.

We are one of only 37 of the 5,250 non-hospital based urgent care centers in the U.S. to earn this designation and the only one in our NC and AZ markets, and as the sixth largest in the nation we are now the largest urgent care operator to hold the coveted Gold Seal.

Our FastMed Joint Commission Taskforce, with the support of scores of FastMed teammates, worked with Joint Commission experts throughout the rigorous eight-month application process that included detailed surveys of 24 of our sites, and numerous pre and post survey meetings and requests, all of which made us stronger and even more quality focused as an organization.

Not only has this process improved our delivery of medical care and safety to our patients and staff, but it helps differentiate our value proposition in the market.

We believe this news has positive impact on the higher level of quality care that patients receive in the neighborhoods your organization and ours serve.  We’d welcome a conversation with you about what this means to your local market readership.  Please let me know.

Thank you!
