July 16, 2014 (Winston-Salem, NC) – Local event design and management firm, Sterling Events Group is pleased to announce that their team has been nominated for two Esprit® Awards by the International Special Events Society (ISES).

The ISES Esprit® Awards program is a globally recognized awards competition that “honors the exceptional professional achievements of individuals and organizations from across the ISES membership, representing all facets of the event”.

Nominated events and categories include:

Best Event Design/Décor Under $25,000
Event: Game Night Welcome Reception
Event Designer: Kristen H. Prestwood

Best Social Event Over $75,000
Event: Gone With The Wind Weekend – A Southern Experience
Event Planner and Co-Designer: Christa Hovis

In addition to these nominations, collectively the Sterling Events Group team has won more than 20 regional and international awards since 2010 including the 2013 international ISES Esprit® Award for Best Event for a Non-Profit Organization, and 2013 regional ISES EVIE Awards for Best Event Design/Décor Under $10K, Best Overall Planning, and the Presidential Award “Lead by Example”.

The ISES Esprit® Awards ceremony will be held August 20th at The Westin Hotel in Seattle, Washington.
