Summer STEM Camps
July 6-10 from 9am-12pm

Flywheel is excited to partner with Young Engineers of Today to bring their STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Summer Camps for students, ages 12-15, to Winston-Salem.  Course topics include 3D Printing & Raspberry Pi.

SQL Basics: Using MySQL – Build a Database
July 13, 16 & 23 from 6:00-8:30pm

A relational database is still found at the center of nearly every software application.  This course will introduce core, platform-agnostic relational database concepts using the MySQL database management system but all concepts apply also to SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, MS Access or other vendor-branded varieties.

Flywheel is hosting Lean Agile Training’s (LAT) Certified ScrumMaster course + Agile Release Planning Workshop. LAT’s approach is unique approach consists of a 2-day interactive Certified ScrumMaster course plus a 1-day Agile Release Planning Workshop.

Code Camp: Website Coding Basics 1 – Build Your Own Website
July 27, 29 & August 3 from 6:00-8:30pm

This course will teach the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to get you started in mastering the digital programming skills necessary for building a website.  In the end, you will have the basic skills needed to create a simple website.

Website Coding Basics 2: Make A Website Look Good
August 24, 26 & 31 from 6:00-8:30pm

Every website has a front end and a back end.  In this camp, you will learn intermediate front end skills specifically focusing on functional styling which is the code that makes a website look good to those visiting it.
