On Thursday, November 3rd, Dr. Richard Joseph, John Evans Professor of International History and Politics at Northwestern University, will visit WSSU to share through the Law and Sustainability lecture series sponsored by The Department of Economics and Finance.

Dr. Richard Joseph will be speaking on issues that are extremely timely for the upcoming elections, as well as issues of social justice. He is a world-renowned academic who has been all around the world and lectured at prestigious universities.

Richard Joseph has known Barack Obama since he served in the Illinois State Senate. On the eve of the 2016 general elections, he asks; “How do we assess Obama’s Presidency in a fractured nation and contentious world?” He will conclude with reflections on the Obama Post-Presidency.
