Referral/Leads Groups

Involvement in a Chamber Referral/Leads Group is a great opportunity to build your business. Each group consists of one member per industry, creating a non-competitive environment, which allows each member to share referrals for products and services.

About the Chamber's Referral Groups
  • The purpose of a Chamber referral group is to build relationships with non-competing businesses in order to provide and exchange referrals - or business leads.
  • Our goal is to promote and grow each member’s business.
  • Membership in each group will be limited to 30 members.
  • Prospective members will be required to complete an application.
  • To insure success of the groups, attendance policies are in place.
  • Meetings are formatted to allow each member to give a brief “commercial” about their business. In addition, one member is spotlighted by giving a 10-minute presentation.
The Chamber has three active Chamber referral/lead groups:

The STARS (Special Tips and Referral Seekers)
Meets every other Wednesday from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. in the Chamber Boardroom.

Triad Synergy
Meets every Tuesday from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. at the Chamber office.
The LIONS (Leads in Our Neighborhood)
Meets every Tuesday from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. at Bib's Downtown (675 W. Fifth Street) with Triad Business Networking to follow.

If you are interested in joining one of our groups; please download the referral/lead group application or you may contact Kirsten Oakes, Director of Membership at 336-728-9245 or koakes@winstonsalem.com.

Referral group members must be Chamber members in good standing and applications must be completed and approved by the referral group membership committee prior to acceptance into the group. Membership in a referral group is a benefit of Chamber Membership of the company one is working for at the time they joined the group. Any changes mean reapplying and meeting the membership criteria for the new company. To insure success of the groups, attendance policies are in place.
