Chamber to Hold Forum on Rising Health Care Costs: Panel Features Top Local Industry Leaders

Winston-Salem, NC (October 13, 2011) –The Winston-Salem Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (BCBSNC), will host a health care panel discussion on Tues. Nov. 8, 2011from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Downtown Winston-Salem Marriott. The panel discussion will be moderated by Brad Wilson, President and CEO of BCBSNC and features the following leading North Carolina health care and insurance experts: Keith Kiser, Senior Vice President, BB&T Insurance Services; John McConnell, MD, CEO, Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center; Lisa Snowden, Senior Vice President, Piedmont Federal Savings Bank; and Paul Wiles, President and CEO, Novant Health. Wells Fargo Chairman, President and CEO John G. Stumpf to be Keynote Speaker at Chamber's Annual Meeting
Winston-Salem, NC (August 31, 2011)  –  John G. Stumpf, the Chairman, President and CEO of Wells Fargo & Company will be the keynote speaker at the Winston-Salem Chamber of Commerce’s 126th Annual Meeting on November 30, 2011, 11:30 a.m. at the Benton Convention Center. Chamber and Wake Forest University Partner to Offer Minority Business Scholarships

Winston-Salem (August 1, 2011) – The Winston-Salem Chamber and Wake Forest University are partnering together to offer 25 minority business scholarships that will provide one year of free Chamber membership. Winston-Salem Chamber Launches New Business Accelerator for 2011

Winston-Salem, NC (December 29, 2010) – The Winston-Salem Chamber has created Business Accelerator to help business owners, executives, and managers significantly grow and improve their businesses. The 2011 Business Accelerator, sponsored by First Tennessee, consists of ten monthly seminars taught by local college and university professors and encompasses the Chamber’s small business wisdom into a single package.
