Lights! Chamber! Action! - Opens on Feb. 28!

On February 28th and 29th and March 1st, more than 300 business volunteers will have the opportunity to be cast in starring roles in Lights! Chamber! Action! – the Chamber’s three-day membership event and community awareness campaign. This event endeavors to increase overall awareness of the Chamber’s role in growing the existing business community in Winston-Salem and Forsyth County with the goal of increasing membership support -  all while having a great time! Piedmont Propulsion to Add 25 Jobs

Piedmont Propulsion Systems, a leader in military, regional airline and general aviation turboprop overhaul and repair, will expand in Forsyth County. The company plans to create 25 jobs and invest more than $1.6 million during the next three years in Winston-Salem. The Chamber’s Economic Development Team partnered with the Governor, N.C. Department of Commerce, the N.C. Community Colleges, the City of Winston-Salem, Forsyth County, and the Airport Commission of Forsyth County on this project. Beltway Construction to Begin in 2014

At the Piedmont Triad Transporation Summit, Gov. Perdue announced that construction of the eastern leg of the Northern Beltway will begin in 2014. This has been a top priority of the Winston-Salem Chamber for many years and we thank everyone involved who has helped in this process. We encourage you all to get involved in the Chamber's Goverment Affairs efforts. The Chamber serves as the voice of Forsyth County businesses in local, state, and national issues.
