The Piedmont Authority for Regional Transportation (PART), Greensboro Transit Authority (GTA), High Point Transit System (HPTS), and Winston-Salem Transit Authority (WSTA) all announced that they will join other public transportation systems across the nation to participate in National Get On Board for Public Transit Day on Thursday, April 25. In recognition of Get On Board for Public Transit on April 25^th PART, GTA, WSTA, and HPTS will offer FREE rides on all bus routes the whole day!

We encourage everyone to participate in this National event. Whether you are an existing transit rider, a first-time rider, environmentally conscious or budget conscious; mobility affects all of us in various ways. Join us on April 25^th and Get on Board to ride PART Express, GTA, WSTA, and HPTS for free!

Sponsored by the American Public Transportation Association (APTA), the 2019 National Get On Board Day is a day that encourages people to support public transportation and showcases the benefits it brings to communities.  Each weekday in the U.S., 34 million people board public transportation.
