Greater Winston-Salem Inc. is pleased to announce a new partnership with Mom League to provide enhanced postpartum support for employees, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to talent recruitment, retention, and modern workplace benefits that support families at every stage of life.
Eligible Greater Winston-Salem Inc. employees will receive enrollment access to Mom League’s Newborn Series as part of the organization’s employee benefits package. The instructor-led, eight-week program is designed for mothers and babies from birth to 12 weeks old and focuses on education, community connection, and postpartum wellbeing during a critical life transition.
At Greater Winston-Salem Inc., we believe supporting working families is essential to building a strong, resilient workforce,” says Mark Owens, President & CEO of Greater Winston-Salem Inc. “By partnering with Mom League, we are leading with intention and innovation, ensuring our team members have access to meaningful support during one of life’s most important transitions. This partnership reflects our commitment to employee well-being, talent retention, and setting a standard for how employers can invest in people while strengthening our broader business community.”
The Newborn Series combines facilitated group discussions, expert-led guest sessions, and practical education on topics including perinatal mental health, infant development, postpartum recovery, navigating relationships, and returning to work. Greater Winston-Salem Inc. is the first employer to partner with Mom League to offer its services as an employee benefit.
“Mom League was created to support mothers in ways that are often overlooked, especially during the postpartum period,” says Riley Bolton, Co-Owner of Mom League. “By partnering with Greater Winston-Salem Inc., we’re helping demonstrate how employers can play a meaningful role in supporting working parents while also strengthening their ability to attract and retain talent.”
The agreement underscores Greater Winston-Salem Inc.’s commitment to modeling innovative workplace practices that can be scaled across the region’s business community. It also aligns with our 2030 Vision: to be the top mid-sized city in the Southeast, to be a more equitable community, and to be the best place to raise a family.
