Goodwill Industries, located at 514 Waughtown Street in Winston-Salem, will host the Southeast Neighborhood Association’s (SENA) 5th Annual Community Day and Job Fair on Saturday, October 14 from 12:00pm-3:00pm.

This year’s theme is “Together we Stand” in the Southeast Ward! The event celebrates togetherness and diversity in one of the city’s most diverse neighborhoods. This community day brings businesses, agencies and residents together to promote cross-cultural unity; while sharing resources with those looking for employment, healthcare, youth activities, and even household energy efficiency. The 5th annual community day is free and open to the public. There will be fun for the entire family.

Entertainment includes a fun kid’s zone, musical performers, D.J. Energizer and great raffle prizes. For vendor and sponsorship opportunities, please contact Mildred Perez at (336) 926-9524 or Arabia Diablo at (336) 734-6900.

The Southeast Neighborhood Association is a group of residents, businesses and nonprofit organizations that are concerned about improving opportunities for youth and families in the Southeast Ward. We meet monthly to discuss issues like safety, property maintenance, jobs and assisting neighbors in need. This event was started to recruit new members who are interested in joining the association.
