Leadership Winston-Salem, celebrating its 30th Anniversary in 2014-15, is accepting applications for the nine-month 2014-15 Flagship Program which offers rare, behind-the-scenes insights into our community. Develop rich relationships while discovering ways to use your unique talents to help Winston-Salem and Forsyth County thrive.

For anyone interested in learning more about the program, an information reception will be held on Thursday, April 24 from 5:30-6:30pm. There is no fee, but pre-registration is required as space is limited. Register at leadershipws.org. Information and the program application are also available on the website.

Selection for the program is based on a variety of criteria designed to select a class of participants who reflect the demographic diversity of Forsyth County. Previous classes have included existing and emerging leaders from business, government, education, healthcare, and the non-profit sector as well as a mixture of ethnicity, age and gender. An ideal candidate will also have demonstrated experience in community involvement, an interest in learning more about Forsyth County, and a strong desire to improve the community.

With a mission of educating, connecting and energizing leaders to serve and improve the community, Leadership Winston-Salem, founded in 1984, offers two unique programs: the nine-month Flagship Program and INSIGHT:WINSTON-SALEM, an invitation-only program for senior level executives of large organizations who have recently relocated, are new to their position, or desire more community involvement – and for their significant others.
