The Russell Agency is a full-service advertising and marketing firm located in downtown Winston-Salem. This year marks the agency’s 35th anniversary – and we are proud of our longstanding reputation for providing results-oriented strategic branding and communication solutions to our superb roster of corporate and nonprofit clients.
Co-owners Betsy Hamilton, Anne Cullen and Cindy Cash have been with the agency since virtually its founding in 1979 by Judi Russell.
In 2005, Russell decided to leave the agency to pursue other interests, and Hamilton, Cullen and Cash – at that point longtime stakeholders as well – purchased Russell’s interest in the company.
In the spring of 2006, the “new” owners bought and renovated a former auto-detailing shop on the corner of Fifth and Broad streets, and a few months later The Russell Agency moved from its previous offices on Deacon Boulevard to its new, 6,000-square-foot space.
Thirty-five years of profitable operation is a noteworthy benchmark for any business, especially an advertising agency that has weathered multiple economic cycles and continues to thrive. All of us at The Russell Agency are thrilled to be a part of the resurgent Winston-Salem economy and its talented business community.
