The Edge Flats, developed by Vision Development, LLC and Windsor Commercial, will be hosting an Open House at the Leasing Center on October 30th from 9 am to 7 pm. The mid-rise community will offer 170 fully furnished luxury one and two bedroom flats, opening the first of two buildings for residents in January 2015 with total project completion in March 2015. The fully-furnished flats and community amenities are designed to provide residents with a contemporary and convenient lifestyle. “We are hoping to fill a niche for transient professionals and medical students, residents or staff at Baptist,” said Jake Carter, Leasing Manager for The Edge Flats. “We have a very convenient location right on the edge of Downtown and across Business 40 from Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.”

Highlights of the community include a state of the art fitness center, resort-style saline pool, a parking garage in each building, and the community will be gated. Each flat will include a washer and dryer as well as a TV in the living room in addition to being completely furnished. The Edge Flats will offer a straightforward rental experience with all utilities except electric, furnishings, and parking included in the rent.

This is the second project in Winston Salem for Vision Development ¬†and Windsor Commercial, completing Deacon’s Station, a luxury student-housing community near Wake Forest’s campus in 2012.
