In celebration of Women’s History Month, DHG has planned a month-long educational campaign to promote and recognize the advancement of women in the accounting profession and beyond. The Women’s History Month celebration is sponsored by DHG’s Women Forward program which promotes learning and leadership for women within the firm and across the accounting industry. Additionally, DHG recently launched a new website (www.womenforward.com) which communicates DHG’s strategic focus on the success of women.

According to Nikki Yarborough, Co-Leader of DHG’s Women Forward program, “This March marks the 29th anniversary of Women’s History Month, a time when we come together to honor and celebrate the extraordinary lives, achievements and triumphs of women. For DHG, we will highlight successful role models within the firm and work to build awareness regarding the barriers to success that women have traditionally faced. During this month, we will also reflect on how far we have come as a firm and as a business community for women. We look forward to continued progress through our Women Forward program and other inclusion and diversity initiatives.”

One of the highlights of the month includes the release of a white paper, Successful Women Leaders: Conversation about Career and Life. Ashley Ensley, DHG Senior Manager, shares the views and advice of strong women leaders who have experienced great success as the result of mentorship, networking and support systems. Other educational initiatives associated with Women’s History Month include podcasts, blog posts and a special video series. Visit the DHG Life Blog and stay tuned on social media for special communications throughout the month:
