Forsyth Tech has launched a new website that has been redesigned to transform the user experience. The site features quicker and easier access to information based on audience type, news and social feeds as well as enhanced accessibility, particularly on mobile devices, with the introduction of a responsive web design.
“Focus group participants told us they wanted the site to more clearly communicate information about the student services we offer, classes and training schedules, costs, financial aid and how to register.” says Mamie Sutphin, vice president, Institutional Advancement and executive director of the Forsyth Tech Foundation. “We incorporated this feedback into the new site design and architecture and believe we have done a good job of addressing these needs.”
The improved site allows visitors to self-select their interests upfront on the home page based on whether they are a prospective student, current student or business. Links to information about financial aid, the application process, course listings and payment options are available on almost every page of the site for quick reference. Customized photos throughout the site help reinforce the college’s brand and innovative, sophisticated learning environment.
“Our new site is engaging, using media-rich language that appeals to today’s students,” Sutphin says. “It has been designed to serve as one of the college’s primary marketing tools for recruiting new students and introducing local businesses to our corporate training offerings.”
