The Salvation Army of Greater Winston-Salem is seeking volunteers to assist with sorting and distribution of coats for the 2017 Give a Kid a Coat Campaign. Volunteers are needed February 6-9 from 9 a.m. until noon and 1-4 p.m. to sort coats. Volunteers are also needed February 14-16 from 10-noon and noon-2 p.m. to help with distribution. Sorting and distribution will take place at The Salvation Army Warehouse at 680 Peters Creek Parkway in Winston-Salem. To volunteer, go to www.SalvationArmyWS.org and click on “Volunteer Now”. The Give a Kid a Coat campaign is celebrating its 30th year of providing coats to families in need in the Greater Winston-Salem Area. Over 6,000 coats were distributed last year.
