The City of Winston-Salem is embarking on a project to measure its equity in awarding business contracts. The City’s Office of Business Inclusion and Advancement is working with MGT Consulting Group on a Disparity Study designed to assess the City’s efforts to ensure local minority and women-owned business enterprises (M/WBE) have equal access to contracting opportunities.

MGT Consulting Group is conducting three public engagement meetings to gather input from business owners for the study. All local business owners, regardless of M/WBE certification, are encouraged to participate if they have done business or attempted to do business with the City of Winston-Salem within the past 5 years.
