Solarté Collections Celebrates as the Company Reaches 2-Year Milestone on Winston Starts Startup Runway

Solarté Collections, a local luxury body care brand that pledges to empower women affected by domestic violence, is thrilled to celebrate the company’s second anniversary at 500 West 5th Street.  Solarté was one of the first 12 companies to be accepted into the Winston Starts cohort among other emerging brands, in early February 2018. Since then, the company has established retail partners in seven states and has allocated products and resources to eight safe houses throughout the country.

According to Solarté CEO, Angela Jenkins, having the privilege to work within the startup incubator has helped the brand soar. “Having our office at 500 West 5th Street has offered many invaluable business relationships and amenities that have propelled our growing company. Having our video production and social content
created by a cohort brand, Shift Creative, a budding partnership with Wake Forest University interns and Salem College interns, and finally the pool of executive-level mentors, offering premium guidance to the founders of each company here. Steve Lineberger and his team have done an amazing job attracting other companies from across North Carolina and the nation, making Winston-Salem one of the top cities for entrepreneurs. In addition, the generosity of Don Flow and John Whitaker, who created Winston Starts, has been invaluable as Solarté gains momentum as the only international luxury skincare brand headquartered in Winston-Salem,” Jenkins said.

As the brand grows, Solarté will continue to build dedicated, loyal relationships with exclusive clients and partners, while providing products and financial support to safe houses for women all over the country.
