Local companies partner to give one small kitchen a BIG makeover.

Everyone loves to watch home makeover shows on television and dream about how their space might be transformed.  Cabinet Studio, a Winston-Salem kitchen & bath design firm will make it happen for one Triad homeowner.  Cabinet Studio and their partner companies will demonstrate how innovative design can transform even the smallest, most cramped and dysfunctional kitchen into a modern, efficient and beautiful space. To enter a homeowner’s kitchen must be no larger than 150 square feet, and be located within 30 miles of the Cabinet Studio showroom.

“Our designers are excited about getting to work with homeowners who may never have done a major remodeling project”  says Bob Vaughn, President of Cabinet Studio.  “It’s a challenge for them to use their creativity to solve design problems in a limited space and make it beautiful and functional.”

Cabinet Studio gathered eight local companies to create a prize package worth over $26,000, including Ferguson, ICON Custom Builders, Bloomday Marble & Granite, Butler Lighting, and McCullough Tile and Stone; the Winston Salem Journal is handling the contest portion. Ten finalists will be selected from among the entries, and the public will vote to select which small kitchen wins the BIG kitchen makeover.

Once the winners are selected, their journey through the remodeling process will be documented through blogs, news articles and video.  To enter the contest go to journalnow.com/entertainment/contests.
