Forsyth Technical Community College is sponsoring a free Computer Diagnostic Clinic on Friday, March 15 from 9 am – 1 pm, in the Technology Building, Room 415, 2100 Silas Creek Parkway in Winston-Salem.

Computer technology faculty and students from the college, as well as students from West Stokes High School, will be on hand to assist the public on a first-come, first served basis. The first 75 participants will receive free antivirus protection donated by our industry partner NOCDOC; the company will also be present to assist with the event. No computers will be accepted after 12:30 pm. The clinic is open to the public.

Bring your PCs or Macs to the college to receive the following services:

  • Computer diagnostics
  • Minor computer repairs
  • Virus removal
  • Virus protection
  • Spam removal
  • Driver & system updates
  • File system clean-up or tune-up

The clinic is held annually and is used as an opportunity to give students hands-on experience, applying the skills they have learned to practical training.

Parking will be available in front of the Technology Building. Visitors may park in spaces reserved with orange traffic cones.
