The Winston-Salem Chamber supports local small businesses through programs designed to increase your network, expand your visibility, and provide you with resources that enhance your business. Access to business consultations and social media coaching, participation in Leads Groups and committees, and additional benefits are available to all members. The Chamber partners with the Forsyth Tech Small Business Center to present small business workshops and seminars.

The Chamber is a part of Winston-Salem’s formal network supporting small businesses and startups known as the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem. If you are embarking on a new business venture, know that you will find a robust support network here comprised of many partners working together to ensure that Winston-Salem is the best city to start and grow a company.
The Winston Salem Chamber has joined the Carolina Chamber Export Assistance Center to provide our members with access to an online portal for processing export documents. Documentation for countries that require a raised embossed seal, a Certificate of Free Sale, or other specific export documents is also available.

Richard N. Davis Minority Business Scholarships
The Chamber’s Richard N. Davis Scholarship program provides Chamber memberships to minority and women-owned businesses and will develop a peer network of local companies to strengthen and build relationships among minority and women business leaders.
The scholarships have been given the Richard N. Davis title in honor of a past Board Chair of the Chamber and active community advocate. This program is supported by Wake Forest University.
Small Business of the Quarter Presented by Truliant
The Small Business of the Quarter award will celebrate small businesses and their contributions to Winston-Salem. The winners will be eligible for the Truliant Small Business of the Year Award, presented at the Chamber’s Annual Meeting in the fall.
Businesses will be judged on community involvement and stewardship, commitment to good business practices, overall business growth, and workplace culture. You may complete a nomination form for your company or for a company you admire.
