The Law of Raising Money
September 9 from 12-2pm

Wake Forest University School of Law’s Community Law Business Clinic will present The Law of Raising Money seminar.  Discussion topics include: common methods of raising capital, the State and Federal laws governing the offer and sale of investment securities, recent and proposed changes to securities laws, including State and Federal JOBS Acts, roles and responsibilities of financial intermediaries, and the impact of the violation of securities laws on the issuing business.
