The Salvation Army Boys and Girls Clubs’ annual fundraising dinner — Thursday, August 4, at the Grand Pavilion of the Embassy Suites hotel in downtown Winston-Salem — is The Salvation Army Boys and Girls Clubs’ largest fundraising event of the year. The dinner has a limited number of sponsorship opportunities still available.

The clubs serve some 400 children during the school year and at Summer Camps. Last year, over 90% of the members maintained a “C” or better average in school.

This year’s featured speaker is Winston-Salem City Council Member James Taylor. Councilman Taylor is a former Boys and Girls Club member and employee and his children are currently members.

Information on sponsorship opportunities or to buy individual tickets to the event can be found at www.salvationarmyws.org.
