The Board of Directors of the BBB of Northwest NC has named Brian Wright as the new president and chief executive officer effective May 5, 2014. Wright had served as interim CEO following the February resignation of David Dalrymple as well as the Chairman of the Board of Directors from 2010 -2014.

The appointment concludes a search by a six (6) member committee of the Board of Directors, led by Vice Chairman Ann Pate. “We had a number of outstanding candidates for the position, and in the end, we unequivocally concluded that Brian was the ideal selection,” said Ann Pate. “He has the right mix of vision, leadership, understanding and passion to drive our organization forward.”

Brian’s combined experience in marketing, sales and small business management and with his community presence through local clubs and chambers distinguished him as the ideal candidate. “I am excited for the opportunity to serve the business community and consumers throughout the Northwest North Carolina area to advance marketplace trust” Brian said. Most recently, Brian started Salem Auditing, a phone and utility consulting company from scratch and just completed 9 years in business. Additionally, Brian has participated with Clemmons Rotary, WS Chamber among other organizations.
